Text Box: Poet Profile Text Box: S.D. At seven, I began writing poems for friends as gifts, working my way through the colours of the rainbow. Later I began to write predominantly ontological and nature-inspired poetry. Poets I have found inspirational include Kahlil Gibran, William Blake, Rumi, Walt Whitman, Viggo Mortensen, and William Wordsworth. As I really enjoy the process of creative expression, I am also a painter, photographer, ceramist, game designer, writer, sculptor, and qualified art teacher.
