“Camilo Villanueva began painting after he left his commercial activities at age 35. His art works are characterized by strong contrasting colours and visual impact. This talented artist does not try to create representational or figurative art, but aims to express the unseen energies, the interior belonging to that which we cannot see - the expression of universal love and the energy of strength. Camilo Villanueva centres in on the expression of energy, the energy’s journey and essence. He does not try to catch the essence, or tell us about it, but aims to make us understand that there is a kind of existence inside other beings that cannot be seen. That these energies are specific and concrete, though we l cannot be see them, possibly because we do not want to see them. This Argentinian artist aims to express the universal love's face and the way that it leads us to spiritual evolution. His work is made by combining different interwoven harmonic structures, without searching for any chromatic confrontation. His paintings emphasize different fluctuations, finding a diversity of equilibrium, dependant on an individual’s stage of evolution. He also has been invited to exhibit his work in Punta del Este, Uruguay, at the gallery - Galería de Arte Yango. In Argentina, he has exhibited his work at the Sheraton Hotel and Conquistador Hotel, Buenos Aires. His work has also been seen at the Rural Association of Argentina, in the art gallery "La Maja" located in Patio Bullrich, Buenos Aires, in the Babilonia Art Gallery and at the Italian Association, at the invitation of the National Visual Arts Bureau of Argentina, Argentina. Camilo Villanueva's paintings have also been shown at the galleries - "Posta del Sauce" and "La Estancia".
