Poetry Submissions

Click on camera icon located below to submit your photographs—your original work only. Black and white, and colour photographic submissions are accepted.

Art works to be displayed in The Gallery must also be submitted as digital photograph files or digitally-scanned images. Click on easel and palette icon located below, to submit your art works as JPEG files, along with your submission information.

Origination of photographs can be produced using digital or analogue systems, however the submission must be a digital image in JPEG file format.

To submit traditional negatives or slides, digitally scan images and save to hard drive or disc, to convert to JPEG file.

Retouching or manipulation of images is acceptable provided that images are your original work and not copies of other people’s work.

Submission by email attachment only.

First compress image to JPEG file of no more than 80k with a maximum dimension of 450 pixels at 72 dpi. Images saved to colour must be RGB files, not CYMK files.

Attach JPEG photograph file to your submission e-mail, which should include your contact details including postal and e-mail addresses—name, title and profile (optional). Limit of three photographs per submission e-mail.

Great Mystery Publishing aims to encourage individuals to express themselves creatively, and for this reason, your photographs, artworks, poetry, and profiles, are displayed in Great Mystery Publishing’s GALLERY and THE POETIC HEART poetry pages, free of charge.

Photographs, art works, and poems selected will be exhibited on Great Mystery Publishing for approximately two calendar months (minimum duration). You will retain the copyright of your original photographs, art works, and poems.

Photographers, artists, and poets will be notified by e-mail prior to the display of their work.

Photographers, artists, and poets are invited to include a short profile (no more than 100 words) with the submission of their original photographs or poems. Creatives are permitted to list their website address and/or contact e-mail address in their profile - for example if they wish to sell their work or receive comments from visitors to GMP.

All photography, art, and poetry enquiries should be directed to the Publisher.
