A TRUE STORY...AFTER A TORNADO

The story begins with the rescuers finding this poor little guy they named Ralphie. |

Ralphie, scared and starved, joined his rescuers... |

I wouldn’t think anything could live through this...but we were wrong. |

Here she is just placed in a car—scared but safe... |

and then….they are no longer alone! |

Instant friends, they comforted each other while in the car. |

Add two more beagles found after that...the more the merrier! |

Oh boy! A new traveller to add to the mix. A cat, needing shelter, is jumping over into the back seat! Now how is this going to work??? And remember these animals are all strangers to one another! |

Wow! The things we can learn from our animal friends...If only humankind could learn such valuable lessons as this. Lessons of instant friendship. Of peace and harmony by way of respect for one another—no matter one’s colour or creed.
These animals tell you… “It’s just good to be alive and with others.”

This is the turnoff from Banff to the #1 highway to Calgary, Alberta.
When the highway was built, it intersected the natural crossing used by wild-life. After far too many accidents, the local government decided to build this bridge so the animals, especially the elk, could cross safely. Apparently, it didn’t take long before the animals learnt this was their “road”! |
