620 L-GLUTAMIC ACID - This amino acid plays a vital role in plant and metabolic processes, however, as an additive to foodstuffs, it is not recommended for young children. 621 MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE - It has been attributed to causing headaches, nausea and dizziness, and inducing severe asthma attacks in asthmatics. 622 MONOPOTASSIUM GLUTAMATE - It may cause nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, cramps and stomach upsets. It should be avoided by individuals with kidney disorders. 624 MONOAMMONIUM L- GLUTAMATE - No known harmful effects**. 625 MAGNESIUM DI-L-GLUTAMATE - No known harmful effects**. 627 DISODIUM GUANYLATE - The inclusion of this substance in young children's food is not permitted. It also irritates the respiratory system's mucous membranes.
